Ohio State abuses Michigan and improbably loses in the B1G Championship Game to a .500 team. TCU loses a game. USC loses. LSU beats UGA. The Playoff is, potentially:
1. UGA.
2. Tennessee.
3. LSU.
4. Alabama.

I like it.
LSU exacts revenge on Tenner then beats Saban 21-0 in the rematch to win the title.
Saban retires in shame from not crossing the 50 the entire game and Reece Davis leaves ESPN to serve as his fluffer.

There would be a 32 team playoff in 2023. Top 3 from each power 5 + 17 at-larges.
In this scenario every team from the SEC would make the playoff except for Vandy and aTm.

For that to happen CLEMSON and UNC would both have to drop a game as well. They ain’t putting 4 SEC teams in anyway, but they sure as hall ain’t putting a 4th in over the only 1 loss P5 champ left.

What makes UT fans think they would jump a 1 loss Michigan or OSU? Y’all really think the committee is going to be blown away by triple chin Heupel putting up 70 against SC and Vandy to close out the season?

The MidWest and West Coast media would be Demanding a 12-Team Playoff effective Immediately.
Although if you look at the Top-7/8 Teams, there are several opportunities for upsets this weekend. Fingers crossed for some 2007 chaos.

That would be awesome! Like your thinking. I witnessed my Tigers get into the BCS in 2007 needing a crazy scenario to occur. History had a way of repeating itself.
