It would have been more of an advantage to LSU. Kelly admitted they didn’t prepare for the third guy.

Probably not but the game would have played out differently in many ways.
All of this having been said, he didn't play and it was probably for the best he didn't. KJ has been dinged up all year. He'll step back, get healthy, have a good game, then get dinged up again and play poorly.
Jefferson at 60% takes a fearful beating from the LSU pass rush.
Hornsby is fast and has a rocket launcher for an arm... he'd make a wonderful center fielder for an MLB team but he's not so hotso as a QB. Fortin is a journeyman. Once the injuries started to mount Arkansas was screwed on offense and you don't beat the 7th ranked team in the country when you are screwed on offense.
