I don't know how but I'm betting on USC. That would be a great game with USC's talent. I would still take Florida to win the game. They have too much to prove and Meyer will have them ready.

Unless Oregon St loses USC won't even be eliligible for the Rose Bowl!
Penn St will not lose a game. Nothing but patsies on their schedule.

It really looks like it will be Florida vs. Penn St.

I still think it will be Texas vs. Penn ST.

I think Texas chokes in the Big XII CG if they make it.

It's possible but I doubt it. They just played 4 top-10 teams in a row and lost 1 game when a freshmen dropped what should have been a sure interception. Right now Texas is by far the most deserving 1 loss team. Does not mean they are the best as I think both USC and Florida are better, but that is not what the bcs is about at all.

You mean, besides Florida, right?

No, Texas is far more deserving. Texas beat Oklahoma, Oklahoma St., Missouri, and lost on the road to Texas Tech. That is 3 top-10 teams, and another team on an LSU level.
Florida beat no top-10 teams and lost at home to and unranked team. Only a total SEC homer can say Florida is more deserving than Texas.

UF's average SEC win has been by 36.4 points per game, and they toyed with Hawaii and Miami.

They did not toy with Miami at all. I did not see the Hawaii game so I cannot comment on that.
Overall Texas has played the stronger schedule, has wins over better teams and the losses are no comparison at all.
Like I said I think that USC and Florida are the 2 best teams, but I think if you are judging accomplishments than Texas is the head of the class of the 1 loss teams, Oklahoma also has a better resume than Florida.

And what exactly do you find so funny? Is it that the Sagarin predictor has USC and Florida ranked a TD better than they next best team? Or is it that LVSC who sets the lines for 90% of Vegas casinos has USC and Florida as the 2 best teams? Or do you find something else funny?

Correct me if im wrong but they beat LSU at #3...and UGA at #6....unless my counting is wrong they were at that time at least top 10 teams....if you mean by the current top ten then you are correct...just making sure!

Is everyone forgetting about conference championship games. Penn State does not have one, the SEC and Big 12 do. I think that will figure into the BCS formula. I still think USC wins out and wins the Pac 10. The Big 12 has too many good teams in the Big 12 south, Texas, OU, TT and OSU. Their conference championship game may not get the points they need if Missouri or Kansas lose more games. So that leaves a choice between a 1 loss USC and an undefeated Penn State. Something tells me Penn State is gonna get screwed by USC or a team from the Big 12.
