Right but as someone who has flown 4 million miles, avoiding Hartsfield, DFW, and Ohare was always a great thing.

ATL is great for through traffic and connections.
It is horrible for originating traffic. Funneling all 5 councourses worth of passengers through the same main terminal security checkpoints is AWFUL for large events, and barely keeps up woth regular weekly business travel in and out of Atlanta as it is.
Not sure how often you fly in/out of Atlanta during normal air traffic cycles, but ATL is a mess to be avoided if at all possible. Even pre-check and other statuses don't guarantee you'll get through the security line in less than an hour anymore. It's a shitshow.
