All of those things suggest that whatever LSU was doing, what they put on the field, how they prepare and condition, etc, put them in position to win a game that was close for 35 minutes going away. Both teams have injuries. Both teams have players in and out.

What Ole Miss brought to the table was not nearly as good as what LSU did.

The gap is absolutely as big as it looked.

There is some injury luck involved there. And you certainly have better depth than we do. Ole Miss clearly is very talented but have smaller margins for error or bad luck. Do you think you are that much worse than Tennessee because of how things went in that game? I don’t. 40-13, is the gap there as wide as it looked?
