Ole Miss led at halftime. Played one runnin back the whole game and sat their two best defensive players in the second half. That was a combination of LSU playing really well and Ole Miss being very beat up. The gap isn’t that wide.

All of those things suggest that whatever LSU was doing, what they put on the field, how they prepare and condition, etc, put them in position to win a game that was close for 35 minutes going away. Both teams have injuries. Both teams have players in and out.
What Ole Miss brought to the table was not nearly as good as what LSU did.
The gap is absolutely as big as it looked.
