Is it time for teams to immediately demand there be a purge of part time officials? As high stakes as the games are with the money involved in big time college football a lawyer from Pelham or some shite shouldn’t be calling games.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a call as bad as the blind side block with targeting tonight to have the targeting over turned but not the blindside block maybe that’s not a reviewable call but was still pathetic.

In the Bama/LSU game the went to review the ball was clearly tipped at the line of scrimmage and should have taken the PI call away. They reviewed and still got it wrong.

You have 2-3 calls every game each week.

Let’s not forget the biggest play of the game: the ball hitting the ground on that 4th down that they gave to moo state.

I thought all officials were part time. I get that it's impossible to be perfect but if you don't see it for sure then don't throw a flag.

Even review is shitty though. That ball hit the ground in our game. They default to ruling "stands" if you pay attention they never "confirm" anything anymore.

Targeting rule sucks and no one knows how to call it.

I honestly don't know. I know a guy who is related to a college white hat official. He told me that it's a part time gig but decent pay, expenses paid etc

There was also the taunting on that last TD in regulation. Lots of missed calls in the last few minutes. Frustrating. I normally don’t complain about refs because it’s usually a wash but they made a lot of them one sided right at the end. Hated seeing the guys lose that way after fighting so hard to get back into the game.

We had Forrest Gump as the lead official tonight. Where’d they dig that guy up?

Refs are either betting the games or calling the games for what the books need to rake it in. Nobody wants to talk about it but there’s way too much money at stake for everything to be on the up & up.

The worst replay call of the day probably had nothing to do with the outcome, but the UT fumble/non-safety call that wasn't reversed was easily one of the most obvious calls to reverse that I have ever seen.
UT player's whole left side of his body from foot to elbow was on the ground with the ball clearly still behind the goal line.
Should have been a UGA safety 100%.
