And that ink disappears after a year so why anyone gets worked up about where these recruits start out doesn’t make as much sense. Maybe the best move these days might be to let some other collective pay for the first year and swoop in the next through some fellow players. Might save you some money.

I'm just speculating here, but that may be a perfectly valid strategy for some positions - like cornerback - but I can't imagine it would be good to try and build a line off of multiple transfers every season.

I'm curious about Alabama's depth chart at corner. As it stands now, LSU will be starting brand new freshmen at both corners in this spring game if Denver Harris isn't qualified.
