In 3 of the last 4 games against top 10 scoring offenses, UGA has won and held the teams to 22 points below their average…
Did even one of those games occur this season? The only team that could possibly be on that list this year is Oregon and that was game 1 with a new QB for them.

Don't forget to mention Alabama had a Heisman winning QB that threw more interceptions than he threw TDs.

I have an idea why you had an excuse locked and loaded for that 18 point performance
OP: Here’s a stat
Me: Here’s a further look into that stat

Uh...none of the games mentioned in the OP occurred this season, either.

Yeah, well I didn't write the OP. I just keep hearing quite a lot about last year's defense and last year's offense in all these threads. Neither is really that relevant to the upcoming game.

It’s neat that your go to excuse is that I’m super mad

It's weird that you responded to the UGA poster but not your fellow Vol who started this thread in the first place.

Oregon currently at #3 in total offense behind UGA and UTjr. Probably fair to assume that if they didn’t play UGA to kick off the season, they’d be higher.

His post was meaningless. The UGA poster's was one I've seen in different form multiple times. It's not odd at all.

And yet you still refuse to ask your fellow Vol the same question you asked the UGA poster who was only using Vol logic.

Another interesting stat:
Under Kirby UGA is 73-6 when holding teams to less than 30 points.
They're 1-9 under Kirby when UGA allows their opponent to score 30+.
Aaron Murray touched on this during a segment this week. He mentioned he liked UGA in a 31-28 / 35-27 type game. Said that Georgia wants to try and hold Tennessee to less than 30 because anything more than that implies a shoot out and the UGA defense didn't hold up as well as they had hoped. Real concern that the game becomes losable & enters nail biter territory if the UGA defense can't keep UT under 30.
Kirby is 53-1 when UGA scores 30.
His 1 was against UT in 2016 where they needed a hail mary to win it.
He's won 52 games in a row when UGA reaches 30 points.

They have given up 18, 41, 41, 44, 37, 35, 48, & 45 points. He is 2-6 in those games.
Uh oh
Kirby knows this. This is why Monken is here. It's also why we're currently second in offensive YPG and 6th in scoring nationally. We're also fourth in TOP which could come in handy Saturday.

Since we are talking about UGA history and not UT, cause the volunteers appear to be somewhat decent this year, can you show the stats of Kirby at home after his first year?

In the same season that Bama had already beaten Georgia
