Has LSU permanently peaked as a football program?

Kelly was a great hire, we know, but we also know he will never win a national championship at LSU. Even Les Miles got one there, but Brian won't be able to, and that's telling.

So then begins the permanent slide. Kelly will end up golden handcuffed, and he will move his Yankee arse back up north and laughingly give Louisiana the finger. He'll retire back in South Bend, I guarantee it. Or Jersey. Which is actually nicer than you think.

Ever increasing parts of south Louisiana are sinking into the ocean, Kelly knows this, and I hope I don't get banned for the 11th time for saying this, but I have to say the parts of La not sinking into to the ocean YET are overrun with a massive downturn in quality of life. Kelly knows this too. Who is his agent? It's probably Jimmy, and they both laugh on the phone with each other over this whole LSU thing at least once a week. They probably have phone sex.

I'm not guaranteeing any win over LSU this year, I'm just guaranteeing that the winds of perma-change are eating away at the once proud program
