I get it for catchers, so the Pitcher can see his fingers better.
Other than that sounding like a really AT&M statement, I don’t really care what other people do, as long as it’s not forced upon me.

I’ve lived through hippies, disco, and all til now and each generation has their thing and it pisses off prior generations. Of all the things that came along tattoos are the thing that I cared less for. They are too permanent.

I don't know about basketball players but alot of pro fighters do this. The paint gives a coating that helps the nails from cracking and splitting.
