Kirby vs. UF this year is the same point in his tenure as Richt was for the 2007 UF game

Crazy to think about that Kirby has been here already that long.

I wonder if Kirby will break out some fake juice as Richt did in 2007?

I still remember Meyer calling timeouts in the 4th quarter of the 2008 game, dragging his nuts across our face in payback. That was a long afternoon in Jacksonville...

Plus the day the Braves won the World Series back in the mid 90s Spurrier called a reverse late to pile on.

I wish Kirby would make a point to pile on UF.

Spurrier took advantage of UGA having a functioning retard as a head coach and a relatively down SEC to cement UFs "dominance" over UGA and the conference at large. I can't say that I can't understand why he would have any animosity towards UGA.

He had a long fricking memory.

Spurrier was still taking shots at UGA when he went to Washington.

"I hope we can make the Cowboys our Georgia Bulldogs..." Or some shite like that.

I want to beat the frick out of UF every year. But I don't ever want to see that fake juice shite again, like what happened in 2007.

1 SEC Title
2 CFP appearances
3 CFP wins
1 CFP title

I’m all for calling out Richt’s failures, but the 07 Florida game is not one of them. That was one of the highlights of his coaching tenure here.

The look on CUM's face during the EZ celebration was priceless.

It was ballsy as hell. He would have been ridiculed to no end for years if that backfired and Florida won that game. But holy shite, it worked that day. It gave that team a shot in the arm that never wore off.

Did it though? I happen to think that the team was talented enough to win without that bullshite.

But, hey...we won, so the legend of the "Gator Stomp" will live on...

Juice.

The worst game I've ever attended. Florida fans were beyond obnoxious leaving that stadium.

Because we whipped his arse when he played at UF. The same reason that Kirby hates UF now. It’s going to be a long 20 years for them.

We had just beat Vandy 20-17 prior to the bye week.
Prior to that, we had lost to every team in the SEC East consecutively (0-6 against the East going back to 2006).

Yeah, shame on richt for telling the offense to celebrate after we score our first TD, what was he thinking?!??

Richt was such an underachiever and UF made him their bitch. Dude has so much talent that year and couldn’t get it done. So glad he is gone.

Didn’t we start to win more in the series when we started getting our bye the week before? I feel like UF always had a bye before our game and we waited years to get it too.

Most of america was UF's bitch for a bout a 2 decade span, it wasn't just us that were caught in their wake.

Also don't really understand hating on the guy after everythign he did for us. At the time of his leaving I'd argue he was the best coach we've ever had (obviously surpassed by now). Ray goff couldn't see "underachieving" with a telescope. Jim Donnan brought us up to respedtable and righted the ship going in the proper direcftion. Then Richt won at a level we hadn't seen in decades. He dominated most of our rivals, only had 1 what you'd call truly bad season, massively improved our recruiting and national brand, and did it all wihtout coming off as a sleezeball like someone like dabo or jimbo. Then handed the keys off to the next guy who finally took us ot the finish line.

I stayed in the stadium for the whole, fricking, thing. Not really sure why. Just felt like I had to.

As elated as I was in 2007 (I didn't immediately feel like the "Gator Stomp" was a bad thing), i was equally as dejected watching Meyer exact his revenge....upon a team that began the season ranked #1.
