Not a Gump fan fan, but that was taking things too far for show. I wonder if they had anyone talking about BLMs and the burning of DC during that summer? Our society is becoming very China-like and fear of coming out of our houses is next.

I think it’s pretty awful for a company to bend their knee because anonymous people on the internet are faux outraged.
I also think it’s pretty fricking stupid to say something like that publicly with your real name tied to your account. Everybody’s got a schtick, but that schtick can’t cross over into your identifiable personal life.

I dont use my real name on Twitter or anywhere other than Facebook and Instagram. All I post there are pics of my kids doing sports and maybe some cool stuff I see when I travel.
