ignoring our crap coordinators our players are undisciplined. I don't normally call out players and won't call out any specific ones in this thread. But as a whole every player that had a penalty yesterday needs to be running steps today.
The penalty situation needs to be straightened out asap. You just can't keep talking to the players about them. There has to be negative reinforcement.

We've been terrible about penalties for years now. Just accept it.
Sabans mentality must be that he doesn't want to be so concerned with penalties that it thwarts aggressive play.

A penalty here and there happens and you can blame players. 17 penalties is on coaching period

False starts and offsides are on players.
Delay of game can be blamed on coaches as well as pi.
We cannot continue to accept that we are just gonna have penalties. Not 17. There is no way Bama should be almost last in the country in penalties.
We cannot continue to accept mediocrity.

What frustrates me is the amount of time it takes to snap the ball. We take longer to snap than any team in the SEC. We get motion penalties because of this.

It's usually because Bryce has to change Bob retarded play calls.

Not making excuses but the crowd definitely was affecting them, especially when backed up in the end zone....which seemed to be a lot unfortunately

When Bryce is barking out changes as the play clock winds down, you almost expect an offsides at this point.
Wasn't there a graphic that showed Saban's worst 3 games of penalties have all happened in the past 3 years? One in 2019 and 2 this year alone.
He doesn't hold his staff accountable for mediocrity so it trickles down to undisciplined players.

Second time this season that the team has set a new school record for penalties. 15 against Texas, and then even more last night. Also had 10 against Arkansas. So they've had double-digit penalties in every road game.

That is what is the most head scratching about this team and last years.....

I can’t get the image out of my mind of AJ and Barrett fighting one another at the end of a blow out championship win.
I don’t recall seeing that type of leadership the last 3-4 years (maybe Mac is the exception). We have had exceptional individuals, but when is the last time you saw a leader get in the face of a player for a mistake?
It isn’t enough for coaches to correct and teach, it must also come from fellow players.
