I can accept losing if you just get plain beat by the better team. And I can accept a lot of the penalties was justified, false start, offsides, delay off game. But critical penalties like pass interference when the ball was deflected and intercepted in the end zone and ran to the 40. That would have basically sealed the game.
That was a terrible call. The refs waited forever. The can't wait to watch the play ad throw a flag after they are pressured to do so by Tenn. They either saw PI when it happened or they didn't. There almost needs to be a rule the ref throws a flag within 2-3 seconds of immediately seeing the foul or they can't throw it later...........But the worst was reversing an obvious targeting and not calling the late hits on Young ALL day. The refs were obviously caught up in some sort of bias where they were just not calling Tenn.

For the people saying, stop blaming the refs. Yes we should have just played better, but this is not loser crying talk. The refs set a new RECORD for penalties against us in a game!!! These missed calls on Young are facts that even Gary was describing on TV. I had people texting me during the game about late hits on Young. I believe this was one of those games you could show it to a ref crew for review and even they would say it was horribly called. Saban should file a complaint. Bama hate is real. And when we finally start going down, it will look like vultures tearing apart a carcass all trying to get their kick in while they can.

Exactly. This isn't some LSU sour grapes bullshite. The numbers speak for themselves. 130 yards in penalties to almost nothing against Tennessee? It was obscene. It was an absolute mugging. In terms of officiating, one of the most statistically lopsided games in history.

The targeting on BY happened right in front of the back judge. During the replay review I saw the same back judge watching the replay and busting a gut like he'd just heard the funniest joke in his life.

That crew was unbelievable, and yeah we made the play on defense to win the game, and it was erased by an atrocious call.
