But he lost his edge. No chewing out refs. No chewing out assistants. No chewing out players when they mess up.

I believe in Nick Saban more than anyone else on this planet but he’s been ignoring obvious for two year now. The lazy hiring of BoB. The penalties. The zombie support of Golding.

Think back to where this program was in 2015-2017 and think of the coaching we had. Right now it isn’t anywhere close.

He’s become what he used to despise, complacent.

You guys do this after every loss.

He doesn't chew people out when losing, only when winning. However we have been playing like shite all year. So he hasn't had the chance to do it much

This is the JoePa/Bowden era for Saban. Hate it, but it is…

It’s true. I mean the end comes for all of us but it’s clear at this point.

The last two years, how many times have we gone into a hostile environment and kicked our opponent's teeth in? How many leads have we blown? How many scoring opportunities have we squandered because of procedural penalties or poor playcalling on the goalline? 5 years ago it was stupid to say, but at this point it's clear that the program has lost its edge. There's still more than enough talent to overcome it most of the time, but we have gotten soft and undisciplined in every phase of the game. It'll either change really soon, or we're about to experience the slow, frustrating decline that seems to mark the end of every great coach's career.
