Can someone enlighten me on the Middle Eight minutes of the game?

I suppose that the players get lax in the last four of the first half and then take a minute to get up for the first four of the second.

But are there scoring metrics that suggest this is the most important time of the game,?

Momentum before the half and out of the half.

No theory is constant. But there are teams who win games by how they adjust and control clock at the end of half and script plays out of the half.

The implication is that "better coaching wins".
