These are Hendon Hooker's stats against what was a much better and more intimidating looking Alabama team last year in his first year under Heupel playing with a complete patchwork roster of barely enough scholarship players to even field a team and one of the worst overal defenses in the nation backing him up.
Bama's secondary is baby soft this year. I predict 150 plus rushing yards plus 380 + pashing yards this year. Zero ints. God knows how many TDs.
Hooker's ONLY weakness is fumbling the hall when hit from behind. That's Bama's best chance to force a turnover by far.
Their secondary is getting shredded though. And if they slow our run game down and we suddenly realize it's a tougher matchup than expected look for more designed runs and lots of more passing plays from Hooker.
The beauty of this offense is not just the speed and efficiency.... it's how quickly and how well they adjust to in game dynamics/scenarios that are playing out.

Not everyone can be 128th of 131 team in pass yards allowed per game like Tennessee is. Alabama will just have to settle for being 12th.

Damn. I’m excited about this match up as well but pump the brakes. Nothing about Bama is soft. If we win it will be an absolute slug fest and a battle till the end. I’d love to see my VOLS roll up Bama but until Saban leaves it will not happen. We have a shot at winning but the boys gonna have to play sound football. We can’t just show up and expect to win.

You obviously haven't watched their games this year. Running the ball consistently without any designed QB runs might ne a challenge, but they are ripe for the picking through the air.
I predict Tennessee passes to ooennup the run to open up the game then Hendo tajes off with the ball in his hands followed by going over the top a few plays before we really let Snall amd Wright go to work.

But you can be 118th of 131 in penalty yards given up. Just curious how many of those yards are from Defensive P.I?

Bama hasn't played any offense with a real a pulse yet and Texas and Aggies had their way through the air.

He's good and he'll put up 30+ points, that's the good news for UTn. The bad news is that that defense will give up 60+ if Young plays and 45+ with Milroe. It really is that bad.

If you care about the rest of your season and this game as well you probably don't want Bryce to start. We will send the house at him every play early on.
If your other QB starts we will sell out to stop the run and spy him.
I personally hope Bryce plays because i want to see pur pass rush highlighted and showout on the biggest stage this year.
