I am amazed at the logic of some posters here. What has Sanders shown on Saturday's that would justify a SEC program giving him control? What is his coaching experience. Remember Ron Zook? Great recruiter.

Auburn has gone with several unknowns - Chizik, Harsin are most recent. Neither had significant big conference experience.

I've wondered the same damn thing. I'll be honest and admit I've only watched a snippet of JaxSt bowl game where his son played QB - I haven't seen another second of his on-the-field-coaching prowess, so I have not idea what kind of operation he runs over there.

But how can anyone quantify Sanders accomplishments and think he has what it takes to run an SEC football program? OR that he's a guarantee to come in and immediately boost AU's roster into the top 10 in the country?

Sanders has proven he can coach at the FCS level. He can also steal recruits from Saban at a school with bad facilities, crime, and no fresh water.

Zook had never been a head coach in his life. Comparing him to Sanders is apples to oranges.

There's way more logic in hiring Sanders than there was for Bryan Harsin. You fired Malzahn who had a better record at Arkansas State than Harsin. What kind of logic is that? Auburn also hired Chizik who had already proven he was trash as a HC. Your boosters wanted to hire Steele who was trash as a HC. Auburn doesn't use logic when it comes to hiring a head coach so STFU with that nonsense.

Auburn missed out on him. That is what happened!
