Florida = Overrated

They blocked two UK punts and returned had a pick 6. UK is down 5 starters from the Bama game.

I think the Cocktail Party is going to be a lot closer than most think.

Crazy. And not just because they whooped our arse. I really believe they beat UGA by 14+.

I also think they go onto the NC game.

I agree with you. I don't think Flroida is as good as I once thought. I didn't know about the starters missing at Kentucky until later today.

Floridas defense is average and their offense is above average for sure.

I think they would struggle with BAMA's defense. Our defense looked kick arse Saturday night and I know Tennessee is not that good but still our defense is a good unit.

Right now I just hope we get past LSU in BR which is our toughest game in my opinion.

I agree as well. Many on this board are give UF way too much credit. Mostly because they embarrassed the Tigers. I don't see how they can be that great if they let Ole Miss sneak up on them in the Swamp.

they are really good, but rantards are severely overrating them in order to console themselves after the arse kicking LSU took. the one poster that started a thread calling them the "best team in recent memory" was particularly good

Florida would need Penn St. to lose to get to the bcs nc game.

Texas and Texas Tech dropping games would put them in it against Penn State if they won out.

florida's defense is much better than georgia's. We blew georgia off the line of scrimmage and ran all over them. We couldnt do shite on florida they are fast and much more physical than they get credit for

I think Florida is good but the only team they've beaten is LSU and the Tigers are not playing well at all.

8/30 Hawaii 1-0 (0-0) W 56-10
9/06 Miami (FL) 2-0 (0-0) W 26-3
9/20 @ Tennessee 3-0 (1-0) W 30-6
9/27 Mississippi 3-1 (1-1) L 31-30
10/04 @ Arkansas 4-1 (2-1) W 38-7
10/11 No. 4 LSU 5-1 (3-1) W 51-21
10/25 Kentucky 6-1 (4-1) W 63-5

Hawaii, Miami, Tenn, Arky stink.

Kentucky was a good blowout performance as well as LSU.

They lost to Ole Miss.

I think they're good but they haven't played enough to be sure. If they beat Georgia, then I'll agree with the hype.

i've been saying this, people who have seen their all their games know that they are really not consistent outside of special teams, sorry but beating down UK after a bye week at home with help from a special teams implosion is not some kind of watershed moment.
ETA: alot of their scores are misleading as well, they couldn't score in the first 18 minutes against Hawaii (UH was going in for the first score but threw an INT in the endzone) and the Miami game was very close throughout

i've watched all of their games, the best team they beat was LSU, and our defense has been porous all year

I guess special teams and defense aren't part of the game.

You don't think Urban Meyer intentionally called for his special teams to go for the block instead of setting up the return, especially with arguably the best return man in the nation in Brandon James waiting for the kick?

Crazy. I've thought since the beginning of the year that UF was the best of the SEC. In my opinion Bama and Florida don't lose again until SECCG. Then I think Florida beats my Crimson Tide.

Too bad you don't play them in the regular season.
