Your state sucks, it's all desert and mountains, that's it. Mountains look nice but are inconvenient, desert is lame.
Besides that, you're "New Mexicans," frick that, we liked the old Mexicans just fine, they're the real OG's. "New Mexicans" probably invented Taco Bell.
Your cost of living is high, there are few good paying jobs, "Land of Enchantment" my arse.
And the Lobos just beat future SEC school, UTEP.
Burn New Mexico to the ground.

I’m loving this new travel discussion board! Thanks for adding me guys! I respectfully disagree, Sidewalk. Albuquerque is an acquired taste but northern New Mexico is beautiful. The drive from Santa Fe to Angel Fire and Taos is awesome. Love it!

I lived in El Paso for a couple of years. Guess you never heard of Ruidoso. Learned to snow ski there. Very beautiful area. Now El Paso on the other hand is exactly like you just described.
