Freeze only makes sense if the performance is too good to look past. Then your AD can just say "we know about the past, but this is an elite coach and we believe he has been rehabilitated".
The fanbase can buy that. Just like if we announced Urban Meyer, the outcry would quickly turn to excitement.
But Hugh Freeze at ~8-4 and getting killed by inferior teams is really hard to sell lol.

So I've been looking through AU twitter, and just about everyone bitching the loudest about Freeze are "socialists" and have "he/him" in their profiles.

I was out of pocket all night and just got home from church. What happened with Freeze?
I thought it was basically a wrap before the game started yesterday? Now I'm seeing that he and Kiffin (I know the kiffin story) are off the board for Auburn. What happened with Freeze in less than 24 hours? Besides himbgetting blown out by a bad team.
