Make that #1 with a Heisman QB visits an unranked hapless blue blood..... with a first year Head Coach, AND gets taken down to the wire in a slugfest.

LOL hilarious you posted that because I was thinking how similar all of that was to that OU game with us.

I think Texas is better than that Alabama team was, but in general tons of similarities.

Not to put too fine a point on the comparison, but I remember leaving that game thinking that OU was not a legit championship team.

Oh man, I was a little kid when this game was played and I was so sad we didn’t win; not sure why I had expectations.

I would love to hear Ron Franklin and Mike Gottfreid call a game again. That was Saturday night football back in the day.

I was at that game. I didn’t get the benefit to see a review, but from my seats it looked like Keith Brown(I think it was him) was inbounds on that deep pass on the sidelines.
