Take him home, country roads?

Texas A&M football coach Jimbo Fisher is true to his roots as a Clarksburg, West Virginia, native and routinely mentions his fondness of the Mountain State. He did not rule out coaching the Mountaineers down the road if the opportunity presented itself, either, in an interview with WDTV5 News.
“Hey, you don’t never say never in this business and home is home — West Virginia is always dear to my heart,” Fisher said. “I love them. I always have. I’ve always rooted for them my whole life. You never say never in this business and where it takes you. I’m happy where I’m at and I love where I’m at, but home is home.”

It'd be a misstep of historic proportions to leave all that money on the table.

Jimbo has learned much from Jimmy Sexton and Gus Malzhan.

He'll fleece A&M for the rest then "retire" to WVU where there are no unrealistic expectations like that weirdo fanbase in College Station.

He just has to get fired for losing too many games.

This board can't seem to settle on the "A&M is content with 8-4!" narrative or "they actually think they should be good!" narrative.

True, he still gets paid and gets to go home.
Not sure how that works as his contract is fully guaranteed, surely it has some language protecting them from paying him if he gets another job.

Woody wouldn't make that mistake twice! Only 85 million of Kelly's contract is fully guaranteed.

That's what Saban has done to Bama, its turned in to a lefty school with his shenanigans marching w/players supporting the BLM goons. The student population has grown in large part to Yankees coming down w/ their liberal views.

Bryant wasn't able to win there.
Stallings wasn't able to win there.
Something in the water, or the milk.

A lack of resources and advantages for most of A&M's existence?
Your comment is really a different way of saying "because, muh, Aggy."
