Game 1 of a rebuild. Too many couldn’t take off the purple and gold glasses to see it will take time for Kelly to purge out the prima donnas and get his guys in. Year 3 is when I expect the Tigers to contend again.

He has a top 10 roster right now. The team wasn't prepared to win last night. There isn't any way around that.

That is nowhere near a top 10 roster, but I agree prep needs to be better. How many transfer portal guys started last night? Both corners, a safety, two o-linemen, LB, QB, RB? And a freshman starting at left tackle.

Those rankings don’t mean much. A guy coming out of high school as a five star might not be a five star in college (like the Texas safety who played for Sam Houston State the other day). Who were LSU’s five five stars?

LSU still has top 10 talent on the team. They shouldn’t have lost to a bad FSU team. Norval tried to give it away and LSU didn’t want it either.

Special teams killed them, otherwise they win a close game against a pretty decent team. I don’t get the melt about a one-point loss in a game that was projected to be close.

Looking at total stars is not a true valuation of roster talent. Is that chart including Phillip Webb?
Also, big difference between an upperclassmen and a freshman. Three of LSU’s five stars are Perkins (freshman backup) Campbell (freshman LT) and Smith (injured early).

You do realize that FSU went 5-7 last year and lost to a mediocre FCS team Jacksonville State? FSU hasnt been a decent team since Jimbo left. Norval till most likely be fired at seasons end. This is the game that will get FSU bowl eligible.
