That was something. Good luck the rest of the season . Hopefully Lanning can turn this around.

Not indicative of Lanning's time in Oregon, but that was a thrashing.

Remember that rape isn’t about sex, it is an act of dominance and aggression

I actually liked the YouTube ad about the DIY ebike kit. I want to get one of those.

Would just block this game out, it was an unfair ask of a brand new headcoach and completely new staff.

Judge him from here out. Funny seeing Phil Knight stop Kirby and shake his hand.

Lanning will be fine. He will need to get his players and then Oregon will be a handful for anybody.

Odd takes. Even the players shake hands with the other team and say, "Good game!"
Does it somehow make you superior or better if you rub a loss in your opponents face? Bisonduck has been respectful leading up to the game. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being gracious. However, if you don't want to...then you be you. But we don't have to fall in line with your idea of how we should act.

It seems odd because i thought you were all about breaking from convention and speaking your mind.

The difference is players actually played. It’s also the right thing to do as players to be gracious in victory and defeat. Fans at best cheer at games and donate money to the program and now, patronize people who support the players with NIL money. For fans to say “good game” is kinda silly. At least in the context of how the players do it. The Ducks Dude seemed nice enough and knowledgeable, but he also came to an opposing board and knows he was gonna get some shite talking.
In my case, I joked that they were gonna get raped and that game sure was a raping in the context of one football team imposing its will on another. I then joked that the definition reflected the game result. It seems that opened the door for some of the Braintrust to look for an angle to take a shot at me, since I was soooo fricking right about Stet and they were sooo fricking wrong… they have to find something else. So, now a joke about us raping them (which we did in a sports context) is now an indictment on my character in real life. Which is ironic based on the levels the Braintrust have stooped. But hey, this is a shite talking football message board. Have a great Sunday, be safe, and go frick yourselves*

*that’s just a joke, do so if you want to though.

I wasn't necessarily saying we should say "Good game!" so much as be gracious and respectful.

My point is that as long as someone is respectful and wants to talk football, then let's talk football. (Don't we get enough crap talking on the Rant? We complain about what a cesspool it is, then turn around and make this a cesspool?)

For the record, I had not problem with what you said. I got it. It was being funny.

Jeff was lecturing us on how we shouldn't be gracious, though. Totally different.
And when somebody is rude (Some of the guys that droned on and on about Bennett last season) they get what they deserve.

I didn’t take offense. I know you like shock value so touché. Don’t be surprised people are shocked.

I knew a blowout was possible but this was worse than what I imagined the floor. I was wrong, it happens.

Also, I am a believer of Bennett.

I do think Georgia needs to shore up their run fits and run the ball more consistently. However, they have way more than enough time before they play Bama. I also think Georgia can beat Bama now.

Those are the only two tackles that can mitigate Anderson and Turner.

As a UGA fan I selfishly hope y’all do well this year. As an American, I hope you get some of your coastal cities cleaned up. Your state has a lot going for it, but that bullshite the lat few years gave it a bad name, but I guess it kinda has been bubbling for a while. I’m glad you are not a pussy like some of the folks here. Best of luck and tell your brothers we are hoping them the best of luck giving some stick action to the hippies and their spawn.

There was stuff to like about the offense.

OL run-blocking like this won’t be stopped against most of our competition.

The defense needs reps. We need to survive BYU.

There’s nothing wrong in being gracious to your opponent. They usually played the best they were capable of playing. They feel bad enough already without someone acting like a jerk. I liked it when Stet and Brice talked after the NC. Bryce
played his heart out and there was no need to rub a loss in his face. He and Stet seemed to be having a nice conversation. Two class acts.
Nothing like Tech players who refuse to shake hands or their idiot of a HC who refused to shake the hand of the Pitt coach whose team had just beaten GT.

You just follllowed the lecturing nag’s false narrative for some reason and are now jerking to player handshakes for some reason.

Why are you people like this? Why are you so swayed by emotions?
