YouTube TV update will reportedly let you watch four channels at once.

I already do this when watching games on FuboTV but great if they bring it to the app on every platform.

Unmentioned: They’ll probably require an upgrade charge like they do for 4K content.

There’s a lot I like about YTTV, but it is still very Googley.

Just get 4 t.v.’s. They basically just give them away these days.

I recently cancelled mine and went back to cable. Hated to do it, but that's a very accurate way to describe it.... very Googley.

Very app-y. If they just stuck with the typical tradition cable TV interface for channel searching, and god-forbid they actually have channel numbers, particularly if you could arrange them yourself in order of "channels" you actually watch regularly, which is a huge benefit they could exploit, but don't, then I might have stuck with them.

Also, not being able to watch Hawks or Braves because there's no deal with Bally Sports, really sucked. Also it turns out my cable subscription includes all kinds of shite like Peacock and Paramount and AMC+, ESPN+, all things you have to pay extra for if going YTTV, the cable provider actually made more sense for the content I consume.

I hate the cable company, I really wanted youtubetv to be the answer, but after many months of trying it, I had to go crawling back.

YTTV offers this. You can set custom channel linups. Reorder anything you want, and even hide channels you never watch so you don't have to scroll past them.

would you say it’s worth it if the only channels I’m using are sports channels and ABC/CBS/FOX/NBC

i also hear live events are like 45 seconds behind, just like free streams online

Well it wasn't intuitive enough for a moron like me so I cancelled it.

Pretty sure you can do 30 days free and see if it works for you. Do it during football season to be sure.

One GOOD thing about YTTV was that cancellation was effortless. Super easy. I can't remember the last time in my life when I tried to cancel something without being a huge fricking hassle.
