It’s about future potential and money. If that much money is invested sooner or later those areas will catch up with the SEC or surpass. That to me is the biggest reason the media pushed NIL. The conspiracy theorist part of me thinks those Yankees and west coast hippies got tired of us backwoods southerners kicking their asses.

I’m pissed Sankey only looked at dollar signs…There is a big time intangible value that having a network like CBS brings.

ABC/ESPN is the lowest of quality productions out there. They fall behind CBS, NBC, And Fox in how they produce a game.

This ... this is about down the road, they're playing the long game. People who focus only on championships in the here and now are never going to understand that.

And it's absolutely a gamble.
