I guess I missed it but did latu transfer? I konw billingsley did but wasn't latu the starting TE? Wouldnt' he have been a lock for major PT? He was about one of yalls only playmakers on offense in the title game.

Doesn’t necessarily mean that a player from last year was the single problem. Could mean that some dudes grew up too.

The last guy I remember phoning it in like that was Cyrus Kouandjio against OU. That was a meaningless Sugar Bowl after the kick 6 and he was a potential first round pick, so I get it.
But Billingsley loafing during a title game is just another level of strange. He won't be missed.
