He was fired because he started losing more random games he shouldn't.
The final straw was that weird one against Auburn. They fired him then because the soft part of the schedule was coming up and administration didn't want to have to defend firing a guy who had won a NC and finished with 9 wins
But the combination of Alleva's incompetence with back door lobbying gave us CEO.
