He’s using the old - “if you combine X’s defense and O’s offense, it’ll be unstoppable” - theory. It’s flawed and doesn’t address the most important aspects of building a program.

It’s more philosophy based. He’s built his staff around both styles.

You articulate much more clearly than OP… sounds good on paper but does OP really think the offense will sustain itself without Lincoln at the helm?
