Both Ole Miss and Ms st are sucking it up in recruiting right now.

No worries.
We have been poor since 1933 but we have been competitive across the board for the most part and in the present day we are holding our own.
Each school has won a Natty in a major sport in the last year. So I don’t think we are going anywhere.

I agree. They are taking away the fan base in many ways.
I love College football. I hate the NFL. Many people will slowly walk away from the game due to the NIL and Portal issues that will NEVER be solved.
They could start next year with new rules, but the damage already done will have 5 years of effect within the game.

10th in the SEC is pretty much where State has always been. You can expect State to be in the 9-12 range every year.

Any SEC team has money. Some have more, but there are no poor teams in this conference. Why do you think the dirt burglars are so anxious to get here?
