I am curious about the Auburn-PSU game. If Auburn loses that game, the next game might also be a loss. Will that start an early free fall?
5. Herm Edwards, Arizona State
4. Dino Babers, Syracuse
3. Bryan Harsin, Auburn
2. Mike Norvell, Florida State
1. Scott Frost, Nebraska

I expect to see Drinkwitz at the top of this list come November.

I have absolutely no idea how he got that job to begin with.

Why? He is turning the roster to compete in the SEC. He will be fine due to lack of a good overall roster. He is getting the depth and good backups. It will be the next two years that the team shall be loaded and ready to compete with the top teams. I am very happy to see him making progress. Unlike Chad Morris.

He apparently “turned down” the Arkansas job.
Boy are we lucky or what?

Especially after losing that gig at MSNBC...

When Scotch ditched UCF little did he know Queen karma was headed his way.

It's 2022 and Chad Morris finally has the highest level job he was ever qualified to hold.
We fired our shitbird. You guys are defending yours. Go figure...

quote:Wow! You sure don't like seeing Drinkwitz being successful so far. He isn't even close to being on the hot seat because he is rebuilding the roster. He is in a need to get SEC type of players on the roster in order to compete. He is doing a great job so far. Not like he needs to do it in one season or two.

Oh please.... doesn't matter to me which womenz Misery has on the sidelines. By all means, I hope y’all keep Drink. "Successful" may not mean wat you think it does... or we just have different definitions.
Was only responding (thus the quote) to your comment about a coach that hasn't been our sidelines in 2 years.

I'm surprised Herm Edwards isn't at the top of that list. Also, I feel like Dino has been in the top 5-10 for the past 3 years.

You don't consider 11-12 'successful'?

A&M fans were calling for Jimbo Fisher's head last season after he went 8-5. If he pulls another Sumlin-like season after they spent all that money on recruits, he may be on the block.

No doubt Jimbo is gone they are a 7-5 team at best.

Norvell
I’m still surprised FSU took Norvell. Tennessee, Arkansas and Ole Miss all vetted him and said no thanks. Each of those programs went on to hire arguably their worst hires in school history. I don’t know what his deal is but when all 3 of those schools passed on him, that’s a massive red flag.
That being said, I don’t think he’s a horrible coach or anything. Florida State has much deeper problems that’s causing them issues, like Texas.

You talk about Drink, and Mizzou, like we haven't been your daddy since entering the conference.
I guess the real question is do you define "success" as 10 years of unbearable football; followed by one moderately successful year? Because you sure are acting like it

She has a losing record at Missouri. She gets 2 years if she's lucky. Will be out on her arse soon

Drink has been there 10 years? Guess I thought it was less.
Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. Lefty was talking about DRINK being successful.
ETA: just saw my typo "wat", so in b4 spelling not my strong suit.
