No, but they very well could receive bowl bans and scholly reductions, etc.

Tennessee football has been on death row for 15 years.

Tennessee was so poor the HC's wife had to pay players.
You can't make this shite up.

Don't get your hopes up that there will not be more. Nearly all schools hit by infractions have self-imposed scholly reductions; yet, the NCAA nearly always adds more.

And yet, simultaneously we are paying 8,000,000 to a QB commit. Maybe y’all should do a group chat and think these thing through. Don’t let the stupid make you hate your betters.

Lol. You wish. Loss of many, many scholarships at least
If I am not mistaken UT self imposed scholarships already. I think probation but that might be it now. It was a a lot of scholarships if I remember correctly.

nothing will happen. university acted in good faith and fired proot. hard to see any actual consequences for any team from here on out. it's open season.
Depends on which NCAA shows up…the one that did nothing to UNC for years of academic fraud and a university that wouldn’t cooperate with the investigation. Or the one that hammered Oklahoma State for a rouge coach that was fired after one season in Stillwater in what amounted to a $100 loan to a player that was self reported and the loan repaid as their case for creating a competitive advantage. Word of warning, the NCAA bragged on OSU for their “unprecedented level of cooperation and action” then banned them and took scholarships from players that were in 6th grade when it happened.

Vols did the investigation, had punishments agreed to last year. Vols set an example of how self reporting should work.
Pruitt, Neids and Felton will likely never coach at a P5 school again. And Fulmer gets a pointless show cause (he’s never going to work anywhere again).
This isn’t an LSU situation where the school just presented nothing happened. The Vols took immediate action, cleaned house, self imposed penalties equal to the issue and moved forward.
A retro bowl ban to 2020 and a 60,000 fine is the most to be expected

Mizzou got fricked because of a rogue tutor, self-reported, cooperated and was hammered.
If only she had taken one test for a non-athlete we could have used the North Carolina "it was available to eeveryone" defense.
And, for those of you who think Mizzou's issues was with a tudor, please hire a tutor.

When the NCAA holds you up as a shining example of how to do things it’s hard to imagine they will hit us too hard. We are a paragon as fricked up as that sounds (even to me). Mike White and Donde Plowman saved our asses.
And for those talking about reductions… we imposed a 12 scholarship reduction last season along with self imposed recruiting restrictions. That is why the NCAA is praising us. Our self imposed sanctions weren’t just show sanctions. They’ve been rough.

Multiple threads and accounts on here. Vols student athletes had multi millions in NIL last year. Hendon Hooker has a 7 figure NIL deal for coming back this year.
Maybe y’all should look into a group chat on these things. Y’all did the same thing in baseball season with the “it’s a softball field” and “they are juiced/juiced bats” thing.

Just now renovating that high school baseball stadium.

Well, they've experienced something like a prolonged death penalty since 2007. So there's that.

Nobody will get the death penalty again. SMU showed that it’s too severe.
SMU penalized themselves further after the NCAA penalties were imposed. There administration didn’t want the football program to be rebuilt.
