Don't care about this at all. Texas is a Dinosaur state with marijuana laws at this point.

This was very likely only a charge because of the marijuana. Since marijuana possession under 2 oz is a class b misdemeanor, any possession of a weapon at the time is unlawuful, even of it is 100% legally owned and stored otherwise. Meaning of he didn't have the weed, the gun charge wouldn't exist either. So another result of Texas Dinosaur marijuana laws.

This is the real issue. Was he driving home and barely popped a .081 on the breathalyzer? Or was he full on wasted and posing a danger to others on the road? If the latter, dude needs a major wake up call before he hurts or kills himself or someone else being stupid.
