quote:

There is no logistical reason to pick Atlanta.

Outside of being in the actual southeast and having a major airport with flights to everywhere, you mean?

Houston, New Orleans, and Nashville are worse than Atlanta in many respects; Dallas is better than those three, but still falls short of Atlanta.

Tell the truth....you once got a speeding ticket going through the Big A and/or spent time in jail there, right? This is the source of your rant, we're all sure.

Actually, it’s a very large airport with tons of direct flights from multiple carriers. It has tons of convention space and hotel space and the food is acceptable.

From a business perspective, and this is business, not a game, Atlanta actually makes more sense that almost any other city I could name.

If New Orleans had a better airport, I would go with NOLA. But name a better airport system that’s more centrally located.

Yeah. There isn’t one.

When choosing a southern city you soon realize there is not much to choose from so Atlanta probably wins by default.

The airport and interstate junction of 75 and 20. Other than that there is nothing in Atlanta worth fooling with.

65 and 40 run through Nashville and they boost an international airport, a south west hub vs a delta hub.

When the dome is built most stuff should move to the cleaner, safer, nicer Nashville.
