What I’ve learned through realignment is that these agreements really mean dick if a school wants to go

If they didn't mean anything, OU and Texas would already be in the SEC.

The only sure way around it is to orchestrate a mass exodus all at once, and have the departing teams vote to dissolve the league (how many that would take would depend on the bylaws -- it's usually a super majority of some sort).

I disagree, it's primarily why Texas and OU are sitting still until 2025 unless there is a major fallout with the Big 12.
