Nick Saban took the only Alabama team in the last 50 years to not have a single player drafted (2007) to a 7-6 record with an OT loss to UGA and last minute loss to National Champion LSU. The next season he went 12-0 in the regular season with a bunch of Mike Shula players and Greg McElroy at QB.

He didn't coach those guys though. Just 'crooted them.

He also lost to UL Monroe and that 2008 team had 5* talent. He's a recruiter. If he was as good at coaching as you want to advertise then all these years he's had the most talent no one would have every touch any of his teams.
