He’s a good coach but he’s also had every advantage you can imagine in cfb.
He didn’t have those advantages in the NFL and had a sub .500 record.

"cant coach" /= "not the goat". reductive take. Saban is a good defensive mind, but when the playing field is level, he struggles immensely compared to scenarios in which it's clearly tilted in his favor.
Jimbo is the same on the offensive side of the ball. Innovator, etc, but overall not even close to the greatest Xs and Os guy to ever do it.
At the end of the day they're both hillbilly loudmouths with someone else's money in their pocket.
