I would say Bama has the best one. Your thoughts?

SC, KY, and Vandy have all got good ones. MSU and Auburn aren't too shabby either.

At this point, SCAR is the statistical leader in ypg allowed in SEC conference games.

Bama does until the injury bug bites them. They have been seriously fortunate to not have any significant injuries so far this year.

I know Saban is God and all, but I don't think he can't heal injuries by touching them.

Statistically, South Carolina has the best defense in the SEC. Bama did give up 30 points to the only real offense they have played so far this year. I think its too early to call. UT and AU both have very good defenses. They just look worse because of their poor offenses.

And the 30 Tennessee gave up to UF was sort of a fluke. Everything just went wrong for them that game. I really do feel bad for Fulmer this year. That guy really seems snakebit.

Has SC played a good offensive team yet? I dont think so.

Our prevent defense will probably lose us a game this year. That shite makes my blood boil.

Ole Miss is pretty good on offense. Georgia is alright.

I say; USC
Bama
UF/UK/Ole Miss

USC D handled up on UK just as well as Bama and is holding almost everyone to less than three td's a game. what was the UGA USC score, low right? No 31 point half, right?

UT is tough, but that D looks as lost as we have at times.

Our D gave up 30 to UGA in the 2nd half. However, we were in prevent most of the half and one of those TDs UGA got came on a PR with two OBVIOUS blocks in the back.

I think our DL is playing great right now. However our secondary is a little shaky IMO.

It was the first or second game of the season, no? WF isn't that bad. OM has a pretty good D. I think they have some good talent and are in the top half of the SEC. I didn't have them at the top, just in a jumble in the middle. I failed to put AU up there in that jumble.

I had you guys up there man. Just trying to qualify my USC pick with a comparison to an obviously good D in Bama, based on common opponents.

Oh yea I know. I was just defending the 30 we gave up to UGA in the 2nd half. We need to play for 4 qtrs. and get away from that damn prevent. USC and Bama have great defenses IMO. After that, I'm not sure. LSU has the talent to be up there but we'll have to see if they get use to Pelini not being there.

You know what, you are right about WF. I've watched them twice this year and was impressed with Skinner both times, and I didn't know the results of the other games I didn't see. They can't run the ball apparently.

Still think OM's D is in the middle of the SEC, facts be damned!

South Carolina is one of the top three defenses in the country, both statistically and in my mind.

BAMA has the best rush defense without a doubt but I don't think they are the best in several other categories. We have given up a lot of yards passing.
