& im not saying anything what Bama (or any of the traditional powers) is doing is wrong. It’s just the reality of the situation. The big dogs will always be the big dogs.

Firstly, rule parity was the basis for the conversation.
Secondly, Saban's won big at every place he's coached, and when he came to Alabama, there were plenty of schools with stronger football programs than Alabama.
Finally, the man has established the pinnacle of college football at Alabama, AND has maintained it for 1 1/2 decades!
I realize that the term "parity" is what's in question here, but there is a ton of simple-minded people around here who want minimize his success because much of it came at their school's expense.

He did not win big in the NFL, which is the ultimate parity league.

Check his Michigan State record and get back to me on how big he won there.
