Oh - and because a poster on an OU message board said that a&M spent $30 million on this class.

Wait what? I must've missed something. Something new come down the NIL pipeline? Why do folks think A&M is in the sights?
Great question. Maybe it’s a coping mechanism of some sort.

I’m not the one investigating, dumbass…but…
AM also has no history of success to even remotely justify this last class…hell, they didn’t sign that many 5 stars in the previous 4-5 years combined lol.
At least SMU got to enjoy a championship before getting caught lol

You might wonder, "But if dozens of schools have organizations that are run by boosters and have such deals in place, then shouldn't all of them worry about NCAA penalties? Or more likely, none of them? But it's frowned upon to ask such questions here.
This is absolutely a fair question. The answer is that the NCAA doesn’t have the resources to pursue everyone, so more likely they will look to make an example of one or two programs as a warning to everyone else. A&M is at the top of that list because you’ve flaunted the situation way more than others and you’re also not a traditional power.
I will also grant you it’s at least as likely that nothing comes of this.

I’m hearing Miami and Texas top the list.

Well, that's bullshite. A&M hasn't publicized its NIL deals in any way, like Florida and Ohio State and OU and Texas and Miami and others have. Those schools (or the collectives making deals for those schools) have put out press releases!
All we did wrong was recruit so damn well.

Yep. It’s so easy to pick apart their lies about A&M

It's hard to flaunt bullshite LLCs being used as Aggy slush funds.
"But muhhh, these 5* DL from out-of-state are going to College Station because of t-shirt deals!!!"

Wonder why that 5* LBer Perkins, who was committed to A&M, left all that money on the table to go to LSU? He must be above all such illicit financial gains.

Oh yes, terrible for A&M to have a good recruiting class. God forbid … I wonder if we can get to twenty threads on the first page about A&M
Not healthy to be so obsessed over those who have more than you do.
LSU, Bama, Georgia, Florida, hell even Tennessee have something you don't.......A national title trophy in football post WWII!

Perkins, unlike the kids that signed with Aggy, actually understands what ROI is.
Go to LSU and get drafted in the 1st round or go to gA&m and, well, don't.
The choice was simple.

Sure, my man. He turned down his cut of $30,000,000 at A&M to play at LSU for free.

I know Aggy fans got upset when Perkins said he didn't give a frick about their feelings
Watching his family light an Aggy hat on fire must've been tough.

Perkins interview
"Dey gonna use me, know what I'm saying? Gotta get it back...Lotta money to be made in LA."

Well, this is silly.
Everyone is doing this to some degree, but A&M going above and beyond is what’s got them in the spotlight, and yes Miami and Texas would be the other two.
