Even if it is *our* best offense in modern history (unlikely, but let's go with it for a second)... it is *highly unlikely* to be anything remotely resembling some of the impressive CFB offenses of the past 10 years or so.
FWIW, Glory, UGA Podcast host Tyler seems to feel like this will likely be our best offense under Kirby, and possibly better than any of the Richt offenses as well IIRC... I'm not on that page, but I can at least understand how someone could make the leap with Todd Monken doing Monken things and the TE room looking incredible. But it's definitely laughable to try and compare this year's offense to last year's defense. All time top tier D unit in CFB vs *maybe* a top O unit at a program not known for blowing the scoreboard away.

IIRC our best offense ever was the 2012 or maybe 2013 statistically. Aside from not having a Gurley at rb, literally every other offensive position is better except for possibly guard. Our receivers now are better but the big gap is tight end. This group compared to Artie Lynch and Jay Rome is just unfair.
But the other factor is the defense. Even in 2012 we weren’t great on defense, so we had to score a lot. Even after losing so much, I don’t see our defense plummeting because of the stockpile of talent Kirby accumulates. That being said, this offense could be better, but because of need, never statistically reach 2012/13 numbers.

It potentially COULD be, but I think just on paper and roster-wise 2018 would be the frontrunner over this year.
Junior Fromm with fields as backup
Deandre swift/and holyfield/herrien/cook at RB
riley ridley, godwin, mecole, jj holloman at WR
nauta at TE
2 1st round picks at the tackle spots in thomas/wilson
cleveland/kinley/jamaree/shaffer inside
That was a really damn good offense
