On a serious note - sucks for that kid... real talent that somehow got passed over and ended up at Ga Southern initially... baseball recruiting is something of a farce sometimes.

I thought and was hoping it got him on the ribs. MRI is today hopefully it’s a bruise but even then he’ll be missing some serious time. Would be shocked if he pitched again this year

That is the general believe. That he is looking at 4 months before he can try pitching again. Maybe this will be enough to get the umps to take their jobs seriously.
