I suppose we aren’t surprised by either.

Meh. Mims didn’t want to wait and Webb was a wasted spot. Makes the room more attractive for recruits

It’s crazy that we aren’t batting an eye. To these guys leaving are we really that stacked?

For perspective- In Richt's 15 year tenure we only landed one single 5-star offensive lineman.

This offseason we're losing two to transfer.

And it's like we don't even care.

Van Pran said Mims was a generational talent. Too bad he didn’t want to stay and win the job.

Here's what Kirby had to say about Mims.
"Just last Tuesday, coach Kirby Smart brought up Mims when talking about trying to develop young, talented players.

“We look at the offensive line, and I’m like, ‘Man! Look how far Amarius Mims has come,'" Smart said. "'Man! Look how far this guy’s grown and gotten better, Devin Willock.’ I want to see the players improve and not just jell, improve your fundamentals and get better so our team can be better. We have some guys that are getting better. I’m excited about that. They’re probably not as good as you guys think they are. They might not be as good as they think they are, but they’re getting better.”

Praise of Mims but also a hint that Mims may think more of himself that the coaches do at this time.

Webb was a bust. Overrated 5 star. Mims should’ve battled and won the job.

Mims didn’t want to put in the work. That’s disappointing.

Didn’t Webb want to quit football and join the army?

Webb needs a fresh start somewhere. The baggage from his high school days followed him to UGA. I don't know what was true about it, but he needs fresh restart somewhere.

If I were the kid, I would head to the west coast.

Mims to Florida St. We won't have to deal with him in the SEC.

I think he is talking about Micah Morris. I was thinking he was being moved inside, though. I guess if he shows he can handle it we could always move him back outside.

We have recruited well along the OLine the last few years, but we need to have a good class this year. We are in it for some pretty big guys so far.

Morris played both guard and tackle positions at different points in the spring. No telling where he will actually play. It could be more than one position but with the loss of Mims OT seems like a good chance.
