They are really fantastic. I am sure they are thrilled that our neighbors to the west won a championship tonight and enamored by our neighbors to the south being preseason number one.

Thank you Mizzou leadership for bringing us all closer together and “raising good men.”

Makes you wonder how bad our athletic department will be. Likely years to to come.

They really need to think wisely over the next 5 years, otherwise they’re in serious jeopardy of being the next Northwestern (without the good academics). Being the only school and having a large population doesn’t mean shite if you don’t give anything to cheer for. Northwestern is smack dab between Chicago and Milwaukee and has basically no fans.

NW Missouri is already Husker heavy. KC area has lots of kU fans and it’s getting worse by the year. SWMO is Oklahoma/Arkansas country. No freaking clue about SEMO…probably Tennessee if anything. STL seems to be mostly Mizzou but it’s far down the pecking order for them (understandably). The rest of northern MO might be Mizzou/Iowaish.

Point being, Mizzou’s influence doesn’t even come close to the state borders…people have gone with better options and Mizzou’s “radius of influence” will only continue to shrink if they don’t get their shite in order. Hell we know the locals in mid-MO aren’t capable of filling the seats.

I'm ready for the state to stop any funding/subsidizing/tax breaks for Mizzou.
All "universities" stopped being about educating students long ago.
So if I'm just following a glorified semi-pro sports franchise, why should we pay anything for it?
Can't imagine being a booster and feeling like I should give money to this monstrosity.

SEMO is a mix of Mizzou, Ole Miss and bit of R-kansas. Very few tenny fans.
