UT vs Vandy Bat Inspection Procedure

So who would have thought that Vandy actually was the one trying to cheat and have a bat fail inspection. Funny how Vandy claimed UT was cheating when in turn it was Vandy. Now this begs the question, how long has Vandy been getting away with slipping bats through till this weekend.

You aren't going to find many people try to defend Vandy's baseball program.

Hard to defend when your caught red handed trying to slip an illegal bat in? I would like to know if there was any other stickers on it from prior games? Also it’s not to crazy to think that Vandy got caught and all of sudden Corbin knew exactly when to check a bat but yet didn’t check another one the entire game. Who’s to say the stickers wasn’t tampered with?

No one is going to debate whether or not Corbin is a douche nozzle. He is. A big one.

Explain how Vandy was trying to cheat.

Did you read the article? Vandy had a bat that did not pass inspection. I am wondering if this particular bat has been used before and just caught. Why would Vandy present an illegal bat to be certified unless they have used this bat before? Vandy was the one that had the illegal bat not UT.

lsufball19, You upset bc your team has been sucking for years? And explain exactly what Corbin has done to upset you

Vandy can suck a bag of dicks, but I'm surely not expecting them to test their own bats before they're tested by officials.

Then the article is implying/insinuating that Vandy either tested or tried to test Becks bat without a UT rep present. So no doubt Vandy was trying to pull some shady shite.

for years? Have they really? LSU "sucked" last year and still made the super regionals. If that's sucking, then I think LSU is doing alright.

Obviously, if bats are being inspected its not just to see if there is a sticker on them. They wouldnt inspect them if there werent quite a few bats that have been suspected of not being legal. Ibet as far as you are concerned that Vandy bat is the only one this season that hasnt passed inspection. And that came from a Vol writer so probably BS

If it didn't have the sticker, it's illegal without even having to test it, no matter what the test says afterwards.

Then tell me what Corbin has done to hurt your feelings

they inspect bats before every single midweek game and every single weekend series.

Bats being inspected is how they get stickers on them in the first place. The sticker is there to show they have been inspected.

Vandy trying to pull some shady shite, while your team was the one caught with a bat with no sticker.

Bars are inspected before every game. They are not inspecting it for a sticker, they are inspecting to see if it gets a sticker. Sticker means bat is legal. There are instances where bats are inspected and the sticker falls off. Happened to Auburn this and I believe also Happened to NC State as well. According to the article all bats that made the trip was inspected. During this inspection Vandy was caught with an illegal bat and did not get a sticker. How many times has this same bat been used and just now getting caught. Becks bat has past every inspection this season and all of sudden Vandy gets caught and then UT mysteriously has 2 bets that stickers fall off. ??

If it was passing the test, why does it matter? It was legal when they used it. Every bat passes until it doesn't. If Beck knew that the sticker had fallen off, he shouldn't have used it until he got another sticker.

I know they are inspected before the games. Thats what im trying to say. If they inspect them so often, then illegal bats were a problem. Dude acts like Vandy having a bat that didnt pass inspection is the first time that has ever happened

I know this. It’s only illegal due to a technical issue. Vandy had a bad that could not pass inspection. There’s a difference Between a sticker falling off a bat that passed than a bat that couldn’t pass due to being illegal. Vandy was caught trying to use an illegal bat. Again I would like to know how many time this particular bat has been used this year for Vandy and just now getting caught?
