Well, Norman is part of the OKC Designated Market Area (DMA) for TV.
It ranks 44th in the country and has 755,340 TV Households. Are there any SEC DMA markets bigger.
Here’s the listing:
DMA Markets
Austin is 38th at 912,400.
Look through the listing and tell me which DMA markets are bigger in SEC.

DMA smack in a state with two actual cities is pretty stupid.
First, because it's 2022 and not even local TV stations give a shite about DMAs.
Second, because most SEC cities are flanked by multiple larger DMAs. Orlando and Tampa and Jacksonville for UF. Athens is 18 miles from the NE edge of the Atlanta DMA.
Finally, because you're bragging about being in the 44th largest one![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
