Sorry if I missed it, but what’s up with this? Every team, every game. Only the cheerleaders? No bench players, no bands?

I think it’s a sexual thing

Saw a post where they said everyone on the floor and first row were required to. Not sure how accurate that is.

Covid confines itself to the first row. It's science.

This would make a little sense…except none of the trainers, walk on bench guys that never even take off their warm ups, asst coaches, etc have them on.
It’s absolutely absurd

It's so we can keep our minds on the important things. Like their bodies.

Yes
It’s been beyond silly for a long time.
I guess Covid likes cheerleaders.

I'm pretty sure the Aggie dance team wasn't wearing them when I watched them play Arkansas

The best part are the pep bands wear mask until the play their horn instruments then put the mask back on.

No, because who the frick cares if they wear a mask or not.
People should stop worrying about what other people do if it doesn’t affect them.

If it’s their choice, I absolutely agree. You are missing the point, in that literally every game Ive watched the entire cheerleading squad is masked up. While seemingly no one else in the stadium is.

Still doing socially distances interviews which seem silly to me at this point.
The football title game had everyone walk into the stadium almost all at once as it was 15 degrees outside, wall to wall people everywhere. The main entrance was so crowded you would spend 10 minutes going 45 feet. No fear of covud during omicron.

Some interviews are done socially distant, while others are not. I don't know who is making that decision.

With the 2022 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships underway, many are wondering why cheerleaders are wearing masks when seated courtside while those around them aren’t — here’s why.
The NCAA is requiring all individuals immediately adjacent to the court to be masked. OutKick was made aware of the masking policy after publication — this story has been updated to reflect that.
“In an effort to protect Tier 1 individuals during tournament games, the NCAA’s chief medical officer, Dr. Brian Hainline, has indicated that all individuals immediately adjacent to the court, including the official scorer’s table, spirit squads, camera persons, courtside photographers, ball persons and media members seated on the first row of the media table, must be masked,” the policy obtained by OutKick reads.
So fricking stupid.

Anything that keeps women's mouths shut should be celebrated.
