LSU’s Cody Worsham said a self-imposed or NCAA-imposed postseason ban has not been discussed. LSU fired Wade and Armstrong for cause in the wake of a notice of allegations that arrived Tuesday from the NCAA outlining numerous recruiting improprieties.
The 68-team tournament field will be revealed at 5 p.m. Sunday on CBS. Going into Saturday’s play, LSU (22-11) was projected to be a No. 6 seed in the NCAA South regional by ESPN analyst Joe Lunardi.
If LSU is selected as anticipated, assistant coach Kevin Nickelberry will lead the team into the tournament as its interim coach.
I'm expecting to get royally fricked with an 8 seed though.

I would’ve hated for someone like Days to find out his last season’s over right before the tournament.
4 year contributors are too rare at most programs.

Disagree with you on a lot, but this is not one of those things. Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. Probably butthurt A&M fans.
These kids had nothing to do with Wades sloppy idiotic cheating, and should be allowed to play the tournament they earned a berth in.

Bama making the 2011 title game- the loss by osu to Iowa state should have been ignored
They fire alleva because wade fricked up
Of course they make the tourney and they should but for gods sake stop with the seeding conspiracy. If you’re good enough you will have to play good teams anyway. Be happy u are in. I’m glad Bama is in and don’t care about seeding. We’ll eventually see the best if WE are good enough to get that far.

They did whip them with only one of their receivers.
For the tourey, it might be beneficial to self impose ban. Firing wade and sitting out tourney may help out in future punishment.
